This weekend was the annual Bear Lake trip with Neil's extended family. This is the third year I have attended and it was a blast as usual. I definitely think this is one of my favorite traditions with his family. Every July we spend a weekend at Bear Lake boating, playing games, relaxing, reading, talking, and eating. This year we were only able to go up for one day but we at least got to enjoy the wave runners and fabulous company. I know Neil's cousins, aunts and uncles much better than my own and it was so much fun to catch up with everyone (even though we see them all at our monthly birthday celebrations).
Last year on the wave runners Neil was driving crazy and we both ended flying off the wave runner into the water. So this year I made Neil promise to not throw me in the water and he didn't. But with my crazy wave runner driving skills I almost got us thrown off. Good times.
