Plans

Neil and I had great plans to catch up on some movies during our break. But as usual those great plans did not pan out. We have a Fandango giftcard that we planned to use to see a few movies. However, we found out this morning that Logan does not have any participating movie theaters. It figures. I think Logan hates me. I already have to go to Salt Lake just to use another giftcard. As most of you know, I have struggled a bit living in Logan for exactly that reason.

Since those great plans did not pan out, I'm sitting here trying to decide what else to do with my precious time off. I am of course sulking as well because nothing else sounds as good as going to the movies. I am the type of person that when my plans don't work out, I don't take it very well. I don't like change. I don't like changes in plans. I don't like not being able to plan. I need to have plans. I need to have control. Unfortunately, I have learned the very hard way that no matter how much we want to peek at the play book, it just isn't possible. So I am giving up planning. At least until I think of a really good justification for driving an hour just to see a movie.
