I hate to make this blog a venting platform. But stupid people irritate me. If you fit into this category, please stop reading, I will probably offend you. I think it is common knowledge that there are just stupid people out there. But for some reason they have been showing up more often this week than normal. So it has led me to contemplate the issues at hand. I am proposing a required national IQ test at lets say the age of 22. Since I probably did some stupid things before I entered the “real world” I will allow for stupidity through college. But once you are in the “real world” it is no longer allowed. Everyone will take this test and those to do not meet the minimum requirements will be shipped off to well lets say Delaware. Then everyone outside of Delaware can live their lives free of stupid people in the “real world.” I do see the flaw in plan, of what to do with the “pre-real world” group. I don’t know send them to Idaho? If you have any suggestions, I am open. Some of the questions on the IQ test would include:
This plan just gets better and better the more I think about it.When there is a left turn lane in a busy intersection do you use it or try to turn in the through lane, thus irritating the people behind you that may want to make it through the light?
When you come to a 4-way stop do you yield to the person on your right or just play chicken and see who goes first?
When filling out a registration form do you read the explicit instructions on what information is required and where to mail it to or do you send incessant emails asking dumb questions that are right on the form?
When driving on 1400 North in Logan when the speed limit changes to 45 MPH, do you go the speed limit or continue driving 30 MPH thus making the person behind you hit EVERY SINGLE light red?
